| About Position | (1-year Contract with yearly extension based on performance) Job Description:- 1.Dressing bolls, wounds, sores and cuts, etc. 2. Cleaning sores, cuts, wounds with antiseptic solution/cream/ointment. 3. Preparing patients for surgeries. 4. Giving first aid in case of a medical emergency 5. Helping patients with pre-operation care. 6. post-operative dressing. 7 Applying paints, ointment, and liniments on Injuries/wounds. 8. Bandaging wounds and other affected body parts. 9. Care of Foley's catheter, bladder wash and bladder irrigation. 10. Manage inventory of the dressing room 11. Storing all dressing materials and instruments in proper order and check expiry date before issuing the material for the dressing procedure in association with the nurses. 12. Maintain inventory of dressing materials as per organizational guidelines. 13. Check avallability of patient examination couch along with clean linen or disposable sheets over it. 14. Make necessary space for opening a dressing pack 15. Check availability and accessibility of hand-washing sink or alcohol-based hand-wash or hand rub 16. Check availability of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including non-sterile gloves to remove old dressing. 17. Check availability of solutions for cleaning the wound and medication for dressing. 18. Check if the colour-coded bio medical waste bins are available within reach. 19. Sterilize and disinfect all dressing materials and instruments sort dressing materials and instruments into critical, semi critical and non-critical items 20. categorize the dressing materials and instruments for sterilization and disinfection 21. Select the disinfectant based on their properties such as consistency, spectrum of activity and mechanism of action. 22. Select the appropriate method of sterilization based on type of dressing material and instrument. 23. Sterilize materials and instruments as per guidelines/instructions given by seniors. |
