| About Position | (1-year Contract with yearly extension based on performance) Job
Description:- 1. Using x-ray equipment's (DR radiography, CR radiography, IOPA, OPG and Fluoroscopy C-ARM) to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs in department, wards (Portable bed site) and in Operation Theatre for Surgical and non surgical procedures as per physicians/surgeon written orders or instruction or as per ongoing procedure requirements. 2. Assist Radiologist / Sonologist during Ultrasonography procedures. 3. Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations. 4. Verifying patients' identity and reviewing physicians' orders before beginning x-ray procedures. 5. Explaining x-ray procedures to patients and answering their questions. 6. Positioning patients accordingly, which may include lifting and moving patients with limited mobility and ensuring they are comfortable 7. Limiting patients' exposure to radiation by placing lead shields on patients where needed or by collimation and Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety 8. Ensuring that the x-rays taken are of sound quality to prevent repeat procedure. 9. Working closely with the resident Radiologist/Physician/Surgeon to determine whether further tests are required. 10. Updating patient records with relevant information. 11. Maintaining an accurate record of completed x-ray procedures. 12. Marinating an accurate record of consumables and non-consumables items. 13. Ensuring
that the x-ray equipment's are regularly serviced and in good working order
& Promptly notifying management/service provider of damaged or
malfunctioning equipment's. 14. Maintaining
proper record and updated inventory 15. Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time |
| Qualification Description | 10+2 or its equivalent and Diploma in Medical Radiology Technology from an Institute recognized by Govt.(Min.2-year duration) |
