eVIN and UWIN platforms to strengthen vaccine logistics, cold chain

| Qualification Description | Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Public Health/ Hospital Management/ MSW/Social Sciences/ Management/Supply Chain Management/ Technical education from a reputed University / Institution |
| Experience Description | work experience A minimum of 5 Year professional work experience at the district level or above on implementation project in the health sector preferably in Routine Immunization, vaccine logistics, supply chain and cold chain management. Demonstrated experience in usage and implementation of eVIN and U-WIN platforms, including vaccine stock management, temperature monitoring, reporting and data analysis at district/state level. Should have good knowledge of the health system of state. Experience in managing information technology driven projects will be an asset. Must have good working knowledge of computer applications. Should have analytical, negotiating, communication skills. Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required. A good working knowledge of local language of the duty station will be needed. Required skills Strong analytical and reporting skills Experience in IT-enabled systems such as eVIN, U-WIN or similar platforms. Good computer knowledge (MIS, dashboards, Excel) Ability to work independently in field conditions Effective communication in Hindi and local language; working knowledge of English desirable Required Language(s) Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required. A good working knowledge of local language of the duty station will be needed. | Benefit Description | Duties and Responsibilities: Programme Planning and Implementation:
Technical assistance:
· Technical support to the DIO in organizing review meetings related to eVIN/UWIN. · Develop vaccine collection and distribution cycle and ensure its implementation with support from District Vaccine Store(DVS) in-charge · Daily review of online data entry of all vaccine and syringes transactions and ensure regular & timely updating by all cold chain handlers. · Support Cold chain handlers/Vaccinator for eVIN/UWIN entries of all transactions. · Regular analysis of consumption patterns, wastage rates, monthly reports etc. · Monitor cold chain performance through remote temperature loggers and ensure prompt response to temperature excursions at cold chain points across the district. · Work closely with State, divisional and district Level Health officials. · Prepare periodic status reports, annual reports, case studies, etc. in a qualitative and timely manner. · Undertake field visits to monitor the implementation of the system and provide technical inputs to address gaps and bottlenecks in the implementation of eVIN and UWIN. Capacity Building of Cold Chain Handlers: · Support State and divisional officials in conducting training sessions for CCH,ANMs and plan for refresher trainings and trainings of newly recruited staffs · Supportive supervision of ANM & CCH in effective vaccine logistics and cold chain management including temperature recording and handling. · Identify capacity-building needs on eVIN and UWIN and undertake capacity-building activities district level for different levels of health professionals and field-level functionaries, facilitate learning exchanges. Vaccine Temperature Management: · Ensure installation and proper functioning of Temperature loggers. · Daily Temperature monitoring of Cold Chain Equipment through Temperature logger using eVIN · Carry out ongoing maintenance of Assets as guided by technical team. Admin and HR · Develop Monthly workplan and Monthly activity report for submission to divisional officers. · Prepare Travel logs and vouchers. · Daily attendance and leave management with support of direct supervisor |
