The Radiographer will support diagnostic imaging services by operating radiology equipment, assisting with imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining accurate records, and supporting medical professionals in diagnostic activities.

The candidate must have passed +2 Science Examination under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, or equivalent course, and passed Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT) from Government Medical College & Hospitals of the State or any other private institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

If any candidate has obtained higher qualifications such as Bachelor in Medical Radiation Technology (BMRT) or Master in Medical Radiation Technology (MRT), they shall also be eligible to apply, provided they have obtained the basic qualification, i.e., Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT).

Age Limit (as on 31/08/2026): 21–65 years only.

The candidate must have a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification clinical experience.

Responsibility Matrix:

1. Provide qualified Radiographer and manage the X-Ray Unit as per applicable guidelines.
2. Manage the X-Ray Unit at SDH/CHC/UCHC level and deliver the required radiography services.
3. Follow AERB recommendations for the operation and management of the X-Ray Unit.
4. Participate in training programmes organized for Radiographers by the concerned authority.

Major Deliverables:

1. Ensure that X-Ray services are available for a minimum of 8 hours per day on all working days.
2. Undertake X-Ray examinations as prescribed by the concerned departments.
3. Submit X-Ray images to the concerned Physician/Radiologist, where available, for interpretation and further treatment.
4. Maintain proper stock and storage of logistics provided for the X-Ray Unit.
5. Ensure proper handling and use of X-Ray equipment and related logistics as per prescribed guidelines.
