About Position

The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medicines, maintaining proper medication records, ensuring safe storage and handling of medicines, and supporting healthcare professionals in the effective delivery of pharmaceutical services.

Qualification Description

The candidate must have passed +2 Science Examination under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, or equivalent, and passed Diploma in Pharmacy from Government Medical College & Hospitals of the State or any other private institution duly approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and examination conducted by the Odisha Pharmacy Board.

Age Limit (as on 31/08/2026): 21–65 years only.

Responsibility Matrix:

  1. Provide qualified manpower and ensure delivery of mandated services under RBSK-MHT.
  2. Support the Mobile Health Team (MHT) in the 4D screening of children aged 0–18 years at the field level.
  3. Participate in training programmes organized by the District Health Authority.
  4. Support the screening and referral of identified cases as per prescribed guidelines.

Major Deliverables:

  1. Conduct at least 20 field visits per month (1 visit per day) for screening and providing required services.
  2. Support the MHT in screening children aged 0–18 years under the RBSK programme.
  3. Refer identified cases to the DEIC as required.
  4. Ensure necessary follow-up of referred cases.
