About Position

The Programme Assistant will support the implementation and coordination of programme activities, assist health authorities and hospitals, maintain records and reports, coordinate beneficiary-related services, and support the smooth and effective execution of the programme at the district level.

Qualification Description

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Applications. 

Experience Description

03+ years of post-qualification experience in Health Sector will be preferable.

Benefit Description

·         Provide support to the Nodal Officer and health authorities in the effective implementation of PM RAHAT activities.

·         Coordinate with empanelled hospitals, district officials, and state-level teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

·         Ensure proper implementation of scheme guidelines at the district level.

·         Facilitate the identification and verification of eligible beneficiaries under the scheme.

·         Assist patients in availing cashless treatment benefits as per scheme provisions. Address beneficiary queries and grievances, and provide necessary support during hospitalization.

·         Monitor empanelled hospitals to ensure the provision of free/cashless treatment in accordance with scheme norms.

·         Support the resolution of issues and disputes between beneficiaries and hospitals. Maintain comprehensive records of beneficiaries, treatments, claims, and hospital performance.

·         Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to district and state authorities.

·         Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance for audits and inspections. Assist hospitals in processing pre-authorization requests and submitting claims. Conduct field visits to hospitals to assess compliance and quality of services. Support inspection teams during audits. verifications, and investigations.

·         Report any irregularities, fraudulent activities, or misuse of scheme benefits. Receive and register beneficiary complaints in a timely manner.

·         Coordinate with hospitals and concerned authorlties for grievance redressal. Maintain proper grievance records and ensure timely resolution and closure of cases.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the State/Collector/CDMO in various health-related matters.
