| About Position | The Laboratory Technician – Intermediate Reference Laboratory (IRL) under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) is responsible for performing laboratory investigations related to tuberculosis diagnosis, including specimen processing, microscopy, culture, molecular testing, and drug susceptibility testing, in accordance with NTEP guidelines. The role ensures adherence to quality assurance protocols, biosafety standards, accurate documentation, timely reporting of test results, and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and records. |
| Qualification Description | Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology OR Diploma in Medical Lab Technology Should have completed 10+2 before obtaining diploma or degree The degree or diploma should be from a university/ institution recognized by the Central Govt or State Govt. |
| Experience Description | Knowledge of Computers One year experience after degree/ diploma. The candidate should be registered with Uttarakhand Paramedical Medical Council/ Faculty, if applicable. |
